The most dynamic and explosive rollerblade contest around! Mind the Gap is created by rollerblading professional Sven Boekhorst. After years of experience in demonstrations, workshops, endorsing and shows he started the International Mind the Gap contest.
Mind the Gap is an innovative demo/contest. Where skaters perform, and the crowd experiences professional rollerblading Starting from a 3.5 meter high skateramp, jumping over a gap of minimal 3.5 meters and grinding over the MTG slide bar.
Riders start on the MTG launch continuing to the MTG Rail. Skaters get 2 attempts on the MTG rail.
The MTG Contest will have 3 rounds, starting with a gap of 3 meters and ending with a gap of 5 meters.
3 ROUND ALL QUALIFIED SKATERS 3 RUNS 3 METER GAP
2ND ROUND 10 SKATERS 3 RUNS 4 METER GAP
FINAL ROUND 5 SKATERS 5 RUNS 5 METER GAP
The best run of each round will decide if the skater qualfies for the next round.
